ANARCHY: UNKNOWN GUN MEN ATTACK LABOUR MEETING IN ENUGU, BURN VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES



OBIdient movement in danger in Enugu state 

It is no longer news concerning incessant attacks on the gatherings of the Labour Party supporters in Enugu state by gunmen, what their reasons are is what no one has been able to ascertain. 

The Guardian News online reported that it is the fourth time this attack is happening in Enugu state just as the gathering of Labour Party supporters ahead of 2023 elections at Umuida, Enugu-Ezike, in Igbo-Eze North Council of Enugu State came under heavy attack by unknown gunmen.

The gunmen were said to have arrived the venue of the meeting and began to shoot sporadically into the air, causing the attendees to scamper for safety. The gunmen later set ablaze vehicles and motorcycles before leaving. Though, there was no report of any casualty as the time of filing the report.

Amidst these spate of attacks, the party members through their Chieftain still remained strong and expressed optimism that nothing would deter them from making progress and scoring sweeping victory in the coming election.
