ASUU: BRANCH CONGRESS FINAL REPORT

 


The latest updates says that only OAU have not reached agreement as at this moment, but all other Universities have agree that the strike should be called off on conditions or based on court order. 

At this point, we are patiently waiting for NEC meeting which will hold tomorrow.

Update: Branches except the OAU branch have now reached agreement to suspend conditionally or based on court order.

Final details are been discussed and ASUU Strike organizing committee meeting is currently underway.

President Bola Tinubu in his nationwide broadcast on March 18, where he declared a six-month state of emergency in Rivers State, partly due to the repeated attacks on the region’s oil infrastructure. In response to these attacks, the President suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and all members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, citing the governor’s failure to protect oil facilities.
