MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET: SON OF FORMER PRESIDENT SHEHU SHAGARI BREAKS SILENCE ON MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET

Then Eberechukwu Ihemezie had this comment on the video. "I also think that the same spirit of religious equity and fairness which he is preaching should be extended to ethnicity. Religion and ethnicity plays a central role in the life and culture of Nigerians. As such, it is grossly unfair and infact, an insult to other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria for a Fulani Muslim to replace another Fulani Muslim as president.


If Shehu Shagari Jr is sincere, he shouldn't be supporting Atiku in this election. Equity and fairness must be whole and not selective. And equity and fairness demands that the SE, which is one of  the three largest ethnic groups in Nigeria  produce the next president.


Good enough, in this coming election, the SE has given Nigerians one of its best politicians with quality track records in public and corporate governance. Obi may not be the best politician in Nigeria, but among the 4 major contestants, he's the best and most qualified. He ticked almost all the boxes.


We are watching. This election is like a referendum on the unity of Nigeria. It'll prove if we are indeed true Muslims and Christians, or just religious hypocrites, who only shout equity and fairness when it favours us."
