THE GUTS OF ABIA RETURNING OFFICER; PROF. NNENNA OTI MUST BE APPLAUDED BY WELL MEANING INDIVIDUALS AND LOVERS OF DEMOCRACY. SEE HOW SHE DEFIED THE DIRECTIVES OF INEC CHAIRMAN TO RIG ABIA ELECTION.

After collecting billions of naira, the INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu, personally called the Abia State Returning Officer, Professor Nnenna Oti and gave her "directives on guidelines to follow in ensuring that Abia governorship election results were collated based on some criteria."

She flatly refused to follow those guidelines, but maintained that the will of the people must be upheld. She even asked the Administrative Secretary to read the message she received from the INEC headquarters Abuja.

Prof. Oti has proven that Returning Officers can actually do their jobs and save democracy without fear or favour. The rigging we've witnessed in these elections were executed by the Professors cum Returning Officers, not the Polling Units Officers.

Meanwhile, Afikpo people have once again tried to save Igboland from bad leadership. In 2019, it was Prof. Otunta, who ensured that the will of the people prevailed in Imo State. Though, the mandate was stolen at the Supreme Court, hence the Supreme Court governor. In 2023, another Afikpo indigene ensured that Ikpeazu's executive recklessness, wickedness and rascality in Umuahia was put to an end for good.

Congrats Ndi Abia! Congrats Governor-elect Alex Otti!!

The first task is to comprehensively, completely, totally, and vigorously investigate Ikpeazu, starting from the very minute he set his foot in Abia State Govt House Umuahia.

There must be consequences for bad governance.
