She was taken to Reddington Hospital Lagos and later pronounced dead. She was 72 before death struck. The family is yet to make official statement to that effect. More news to this as they develop. A viral video showing Goddy-Mbakwe attacking the lecturer surfaced online on Wednesday, sparking widespread reactions. Following the incident, the university set up a disciplinary panel, which found her guilty of misconduct. The panel recommended her expulsion, a decision that was upheld by the university authorities. In an official expulsion letter dated February 13, 2025, and signed by the acting Registrar, Victor I.
